B041 Component information
Connector: X071F
Ground connection: –
Specifications: Rated voltage: 4.8 – 5.2 volts, Signal voltage: 0.7 – 4.3 volts

B041 – Check draft sensor
Perform a visual inspection of the component and the associated connectors:
– Check for signs of damage or dirt.
– Check the electrical connections for bad, loose, widened, slid-back or corroded contacts; also check the leads.
– If a voltage of 5 V is applied between pin A and pin C, a signal voltage of between 0.7 and 4.3 V can be measured at pin B of the component using multimeter JT05791A or JDG1478 when the potentiometer is moved from end position to end position.

Item Measurement Specification – B041 – Draft Sensor – Specification
Stop: Voltage Approx. 0.7 V
Stop: Voltage Approx. 4.3 V

Result:
OK: Test completed
NOT OK: Replace the component and perform an operational check.
