ASU FAULT CODES / ASU ERROR CODES

Active Seat Control Unit – The ActiveSeat Control Unit (ASU) receives direct input signals from sensors and switches such as: the seat position sensor, the seat accelerometer sensor, the ActiveSeat height adjustment switch, the firmness control switch ActiveSeat, Operator Presence Switch, ActiveSeat Compressor Assembly, ActiveSeat Raise/Lower Solenoid, and ActiveSeat Flow Control Solenoid), and then performs the appropriate functions as required. The combination of operator commands and sensor signals received by the control unit allow seat height and suspension to be maintained when driving over rough terrain. Seat height and suspension are maintained using a hydraulic height system and a pneumatic suspension system.

ASU 000629.12 (ASU 629.12 )— ASU Control Unit Fault
Code Caused By: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects that its software did not run within the specified time.

ASU 524002.31 — Active Seat Pressure Control Solenoid Fault
Code Caused By: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects current from the pressure control solenoid valve circuit circuit when the pressure control solenoid valve is turned off or no current is detected when the solenoid valve is turned on.

ASU 524003.02 — Active Seat Firmness Control Switch Circuit Fault
Code Caused By: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects that two or more seat firmness control switch circuits are in conflict or undefined.

ASU 524004.02 — Active Seat Height Control Switch Circuit Fault
Code Caused By: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects that two or more seat height control switch circuits are in conflict or undefined.

ASU 524006.08 — Active Seat Vent ON Too Long
Code Caused By: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects that the seat breather solenoid (purge) valve is energized for a long time while the seat height has not dropped to the lower limit of its buffer zone.
Caution: This code is intended to detect a blocked or faulty vent valve, or a seized seat linkage.

ASU 524007.08 — Active Seat Compressor Assembly ON Too Long
Code Caused By: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects that the seat compressor assembly is ON too long while the seat height remains below the lower limit of its buffer zone.
Attention: This code is intended to detect a faulty compressor, a faulty relay, an air leak or a clogged seat linkage.

ASU 524008.13 — ASU Not Calibrated
Code Caused By: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects that the seat raise/lower solenoid valve or seat position sensor is not calibrated or a failure has occurred during calibration.

ASU 524010.31 — Active Seat Raise/Lower Solenoid Circuit Fault
Code caused by: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects current from the seat raise/lower solenoid valve circuit when it is turned off or no current is detected when the solenoid valve is turned on.

ASU 524011.03 — Active Seat Accelerometer Circuit Voltage High
Code Caused By: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects that the seat accelerometer circuit voltage is greater than 4.5V.

ASU 524011.04 — Active Seat Accelerometer Circuit Voltage Low
Code caused by: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects that the seat accelerometer circuit voltage is greater than 1.5V.

ASU 524011.08 — Active Seat Accelerometer Circuit Fault
Code Caused By: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects that the seat accelerometer circuit voltage is not changing while seat control is activated.

ASU 524012.03 — Active Seat Position Sensor Circuit Voltage High
Code caused by: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects that the seat position sensor circuit voltage is higher than 5.0V.

ASU 524012.04 — Active Seat Position Sensor Circuit Voltage Low
Code caused by: The Active Seat Unit (ASU) detects that the seat position sensor circuit voltage is higher than 0.5V.
