The diagnostic trouble code is generated when the control unit registers a supply voltage above 16 volts.

BIF 000168.18 ( BIF 168.18 )— Control Unit, Supply Voltage Too Low
The diagnostic trouble code is generated when the control unit registers a supply voltage of less than 9 volts.

BIF 000639.14 ( BIF 639.14 )— Vehicle CAN BUS, Very High Error Rate
This diagnostic trouble code is triggered if the control unit receives too many incorrect CAN BUS messages or if it detects a general problem in the connection to the vehicle CAN BUS.

BIF 002000.09 ( BIF 2000.09 )— Incorrect CAN BUS Message, Sensor for Coolant Temperature from ECU
This diagnostic trouble code is generated when a data transfer problem occurs between the ECU and BIF. Reception of the CAN message from the coolant temperature sensor, which is transmitted by the ECU, is intermittent or nonexistent (intermittent reception could be due to a loose wire).

This diagnostic trouble code is triggered if the control unit receives the two input signals of the turn signal switch (turn signal LEFT and RIGHT) simultaneously. This indicates a defective turnsignal lever or a fault in the circuit.

BIF 522426.00 — K06/05 or K02/05 Relay for Rear Window Wiper, Current Overload Protection Active at Power Module (HF) PC6
This diagnostic trouble code is generated if power module (HF) PC6 measures a total amperage in excess of 40 amps at the A3 and D3 outputs. The following functions are monitored together and may generate additional diagnostic trouble codes that affect the current overload protection:
