Cab Load Center Control Unit (CLC) – The CLC is considered the “master” application in the implement gateway control unit. The Cab Load Center control unit (CLC) is a solid-state load center on the CAN bus. The purpose of a solid-state load center is to replace the fused relay circuits previously used to power high current loads. CLC controls the majority of high current loads located in or on the tractor cab, such as the various flood & warning lights, wiper motors, wiper switches, light switches, and any other lighting function.

NOTE: If the total control unit load current exceeds the designated maximum amperage level, then the software will begin to automatically shut down individual drivers (control for load devices) in an attempt to lower the total control unit load current below its designated maximum amperage level. The software will wait 8 seconds before it shuts down the first driver, while subsequent driver shut-downs happen in intervals of 2 seconds
NOTE: The software will decide the order of driver shut-downs based upon 3 different factors: First – shut down drivers over their fuse ratings, beginning with the ones closest to their time-out limit. Second – shut down drivers according to the software’s predefined order of priority. Third – shut down drivers approaching their fuse ratings.
