FCC ERROR CODES / FCC FAULT CODES

The FCC control software controls the wipers and processes the signals of the turn-signal lever and reverse drive lever. The FCC control software is included in the instrument unit.
The control software receives signals from:
– Reverse Drive Lever (PowrQuad™ Transmission)
– Reverse Drive Lever (AutoPowr™/IVT™ Transmission)
– Reverse Drive Lever (DirectDrive Transmission)
– Instrument Unit (PowrQuad™ Transmission)
– Instrument Unit (AutoPowr™/IVT™ Transmission)
– Instrument Unit (DirectDrive Transmission)
– Turn-Signal Lever
– Switch for Windshield and Rear Window Wipers
– Light Switch
– Windshield Wiper Shut-Off Switch
The FCC control software processes the incoming signals and makes the information available on the vehicle CAN bus (500 kBd).
The signals of the reverse drive lever are additionally forwarded directly to the corresponding control software (TIA, TID or TIQ) of the transmission.

FCC 002828.31 (FCC 2828.31)— Reverse drive lever, power-zero switch, move switch and either the forward or reverse switch are activated simultaneously for too long a period.
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control software receives a switch combination from an undefined position of the reverse drive lever (intermediate position) over a longer period of time. The signal of one direction switch (forward travel or reverse travel) is received together with the signal of a tractor movement switch or of the power zero switch for too long.
