On vehicles with PowrQuad™ transmission, the PTQ control software and the TIQ control software jointly control the transmission.The PTQ control software is included in the rear chassis control unit.

PTQ 000084.07 (PTQ 84.07)— Wheel Speed Detected During Transmission Calibration, Malfunction
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control software receives a wheel speed via CAN BUS during calibration. The reason for this may be: Wheel speed sensor defective, wheel speed received via the CAN BUS not correct, or the tractor is not standing on a level surface during the calibration. The tractor can therefore move during the calibration (wheel speed exists).
Reaction of the control software: Transmission calibration is aborted.
PTQ 000084.07 (PTQ 84.07)— Wheel Speed Detected During Transmission Calibration, Malfunction
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control software receives a wheel speed via CAN BUS during calibration. The reason for this may be: Wheel speed sensor defective, wheel speed received via the CAN BUS not correct, or the tractor is not standing on a level surface during the calibration. The tractor can therefore move during the calibration (wheel speed exists).
Reaction of the control software: Transmission calibration is aborted.
PTQ 000084.14 (PTQ 84.14)— Wheel Speed Sensor Fault
No wheel speed received with power flowing through the transmission (clutch pedal released) and reverse drive lever in forward or reverse position. Reasons may be: Wheel speed sensor defective or wheel speed received via the CAN Bus incorrect.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 000127.01 (PTQ 127.01)— Transmission Oil Pressure Out of Range Low
Transmission oil pressure (system pressure) too low with engine speed above 800 rpm.
Reaction of the control software: The control software shifts the transmission to neutral. Driving of tractor can be continued in come-home mode only.
PTQ 000127.03 (PTQ 127.03)— Transmission Oil Pressure Switch Voltage Too High
Voltage at transmission oil pressure switch above 4.875 volts. This may indicate a defective circuit.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 000127.04 (PTQ 127.04)— Transmission Oil Pressure Switch Voltage Too Low
Voltage at transmission oil pressure switch below 0.3 volts. This may indicate a defective circuit.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 000168.01 (PTQ 168.01)— Control Software, Supply Voltage (BAT) Too Low
Supply voltage (BAT) below 9 volts. This may indicate a weak battery.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 000168.18 (PTQ 168.18)— Control Software, Supply Voltage (BAT) Too Low
Supply voltage (BAT) below 11 volts but above 9 volts.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 000190.18 (PTQ 190.18)— INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Engine Speed Too Low
The engine is running at a speed of less than 300 rpm for more than 3 seconds, e.g. when the engine stalls.
Reaction of the control software: The control software shifts the transmission to neutral.
PTQ 000191.00 (PTQ 191.00)— Transmission Speed Too High During Calibration
Transmission speed registered during the calibration of the transmission. Reasons may be: Transmission speed sensor defective or the tractor is not standing on a level surface during the calibration. The tractor can therefore move during the calibration (transmission speed present).
Reaction of the control software: Transmission calibration is canceled.
PTQ 000191.17 (PTQ 191.17)— Transmission Speed Too Low
With engine running, the control software commands forward or reverse movement but no or too low transmission speed is registered. Reasons are: Transmission speed sensor circuit fault, forward or reverse solenoid valve circuit fault, transmission enable proportional solenoid valve circuit fault, forward or reverse solenoid valve or transmission enable proportional solenoid valve stuck open.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 000628.02 (PTQ 628.02)— Control Software Internal Fault
A fault occurred when the software was launched.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 000628.12 (PTQ 628.12)— Control Software, Internal Error
A fault occurred when the software was launched.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 000630.02 (PTQ 630.02)— Control Software Internal Fault
Error when reading the internal module (EEPROM).
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 000630.13 (PTQ 630.13)— Transmission System Not Calibrated
This diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control software detects that the transmission is not calibrated.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the transmission.
PTQ 000630.14 (PTQ 630.14)— Stored Calibration Values Out of Range
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if one or more calibration values (forward clutch fill pressure, reverse brake fill pressure, forward clutch fill time, reverse brake fill time) are out of range.
Control software response: Transmission calibration is cancelled.
PTQ 000639.12 (PTQ 639.12)— Powertrain CAN BUS, High Error Rate
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control software receives too many incorrect CAN BUS messages or when it detects a general problem in the connection to the powertrain CAN BUS.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 000734.05 (PTQ 734.05)— Forward Solenoid Valve, Current Too Low
Current at signal input of forward solenoid valve too low. This may indicate an open circuit or a loose wire.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 000734.06 (PTQ 734.06)— Forward Solenoid Valve, Current Too High
Current at signal input of forward solenoid valve too high. This may indicate a shorted circuit.
Reaction of control software: Tractor cannot be driven.
PTQ 000735.05 (PTQ 735.05)— Reverse Solenoid Valve, Current Too Low
Current at signal input of reverse solenoid valve too low. This may indicate an open circuit or a loose wire.
Reaction of control software: Tractor cannot be driven.
PTQ 000735.06 (PTQ 735.06)—Reverse Solenoid Valve, Current Too High
Current at signal input of reverse solenoid valve too high. This may indicate a shorted circuit.
Reaction of control software: Tractor cannot be driven.
PTQ 000736.05 (PTQ 736.05)— Gear Selector Solenoid Valve K1, Current Too Low
An open circuit exists for more than 200 ms at the signal input of gear selector solenoid valve K1.
Reaction of the control software: With diagnostic trouble code active, the tractor transmission cannot be shifted. The 2nd or 3rd gear is engaged automatically. Limited transmission function.
PTQ 000736.06 (PTQ 736.06)— Gear Selector Solenoid Valve K1, Current Too High
Current at signal input of gear selector solenoid valve K1 too high. This may indicate a shorted circuit.
Reaction of the control software: With diagnostic trouble code active, the tractor transmission cannot be shifted. The 2nd or 3rd gear is engaged automatically. Limited transmission function.
PTQ 000737.05 (PTQ 737.05)— Gear Selector Solenoid Valve K2, Current Too Low
An open circuit exists for more than 200 ms at the signal input of gear selector solenoid valve K2.
Reaction of the control software: With diagnostic trouble code active, the tractor transmission cannot be shifted. The 3rd gear is engaged automatically. Limited transmission function.
PTQ 000737.06 (PTQ 737.06)— Gear Selector Solenoid Valve K2, Current Too High
Current at signal input of gear selector solenoid valve K2 too high. This may indicate a shorted circuit.
Reaction of the control software: With diagnostic trouble code active, the tractor transmission cannot be shifted. The 3rd gear is engaged automatically. Limited transmission function.
PTQ 002000.09 (PTQ 2000.09)— Incorrect CAN BUS Message, Information from ECU Control Software
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if a data transfer problem occurs between the ECU control software and the PTQ control software. Reception of the CAN message regarding coolant temperature is intermittent or nonexistent (intermittent reception could be due to a loose wire).
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 002005.09 (PTQ 2005.09)— Incorrect CAN BUS Message, Information from TIQ Control Software
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if a data transfer problem occurs between the TIQ control software and the PTQ control software. Reception of the CAN messages is intermittent or non-existent (intermittent reception could be due to a loose wire).
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 002005.12 (PTQ 2005.12)— Vehicle CAN Bus (500 kBd), High Error Rate
Unable to process all CAN Bus messages received. This is possibly caused by a CAN Bus overload or an internal control unit fault.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 002019.09 (PTQ 2019.09)— Incorrect CAN BUS Message, Information on Wheel Speed
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control software receives an incorrect signal or no signal from thew heel sensors.
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 002145.09 (PTQ 2145.09)— Incorrect CAN BUS Message, Information from FCC Control Software
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if a data transfer problem occurs between the FCC control software and the PTQ control software. Reception of the CAN messages is intermittent or non-existent (intermittent reception could be due to a loose wire).
Reaction of the control software: Limited or no function of the control software.
PTQ 002824.02 (PTQ 2824.02)— Reverse Drive Lever, Not-Neutral Switch, Out of Range
Switch position of not-neutral switch and position of reverse drive lever not logical.
Reaction of the control software: If there is an operator error, the tractor may be moved again after shifting the reverse drive lever and park lock into neutral position.
PTQ 002833.31 (PTQ 2833.31)— INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Vehicle Rolls Despite Park Lock Being Engaged
Vehicle continues to move at a speed over 1.75 km/h even although the park lock is engaged. Release the park brake or stop the tractor.
PTQ 004309.14 (PTQ 4309.14)— INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: When Changing Ranges, Vehicle Changes Direction
When a range is changed, the vehicle changes direction. This may occur when driving on a slope. Control unit responds when park lock is engaged.
PTQ 521925.31 — INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Operator’s Seat Not Occupied During a Range Change
The operator’s seat is not occupied for at least 3 seconds although a range is selected. Sit on the operator’sa seat.
PTQ 522150.14 — INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Engine Overload Protection
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control software detects that the engine speed is too high for the requested gear or group. The requested gear or group shifting does not occur. Reduce engine speed.
Reaction of the control software: The control software prevents the requested gear or group shifting.
PTQ 522188.14 — INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Transmission Speed Too High During Shift Operation
Transmission speed is too high during the shift operation. The previously selected gear stays engaged. Shifting is not possible. Reduce transmission speed to allow shifting.
Reaction of the control software: Transmission does not shift to commanded gear.
PTQ 522847.05 — Proportional Solenoid Valve for Transmission Enable, Current Too Low
Circuit current too low. This indicates an open circuit. The diagnostic trouble code is generated as follows:
– In normal operating mode after 200 msec.
– In come-home mode after 400 msec.
Reaction of the control software: Transmission goes to neutral.
PTQ 522847.06 — Proportional Solenoid Valve for Transmission Enable, Current Too High
Circuit current too high. This indicates a short to ground. The diagnostic trouble code is generated as follows:
– In normal operating mode after 200 msec.
– In come-home mode after 400 msec.
Reaction of the control software: Transmission goes to neutral.
PTQ 523677.14 —INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Declutch Switch on Range Shift Lever Deactivated
Declutch switch on range-shift lever in address TIQ 167 deactivated (input value 0).
Reaction of the control software: Transmission goes to neutral.
PTQ 523677.31 — INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Declutch Switch on Range Shift Lever Deactivated, Operator Not Present
No operator on seat for more than 2 seconds with declutch switch on range-shift lever activated.
Reaction of the control software: The function of the clutch switch on range-shift lever is turned off by the control software. The function will be reactivated when the reverse drive lever is moved through neutral position.
PTQ 523953.02 — Reverse Drive Lever Out of Range
A conflict between the switch position of the reverse drive lever and the drive signal of the TIQ control software and FCC control software has been detected. The reverse drive lever has to be moved to park position to cancel this diagnostic trouble code.
Reaction of the control software: Tractor automation is turned off.
PTQ 523961.07 — INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Reverse Drive Lever Not In Neutral Position
Range lever is in park position but reverse drive lever is not in neutral position.
Reaction of the control software: The control software shifts the transmission to neutral.
PTQ 523966.31 — Tractor in “Come Home” Mode – INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Reverse Drive Lever in Position for Neutral or Park
This operator information (diagnostic trouble code) is generated if the come-home mode is activated (plug for come-home function in COME-HOME position). The operator is informed that he should move the reverse drive lever to its neutral or park position to gain access to the next stage of the come-home function.
Reaction of the control software: The control software shifts the transmission into neutral.
PTQ 524173.03 — Clutch Pedal Potentiometer Channel 1, Voltage Too High
Voltage at the signal input of channel 1 of the potentiometer above 4.7 volts. This indicates a problem at the signal lead or at the ground connection of the potentiometer.
Reaction of the control software: Transmission goes to neutral.
PTQ 524173.04 — Clutch Pedal Potentiometer Channel 1, Voltage Too Low
Voltage at the signal input of channel 1 of the potentiometer below 0.3 volts. This indicates a problem at the signal lead or a problem with the potentiometer supply voltage.
Reaction of the control software: Transmission goes to neutral.
PTQ 524230.03 — Proportional Solenoid Valve for Transmission Enable, Voltage Too High
Circuit open or shorted to 12 volts.
Reaction of the control software: Transmission goes to neutral.
PTQ 524230.04 — Proportional Solenoid Valve for Transmission Enable, Voltage Too Low
Voltage at sensor input too low. This indicates a short to ground.
Reaction of the control software: Transmission goes to neutral.
PTQ 524230.05 — Proportional Solenoid Valve for Transmission Enable, Current Too Low
Circuit current too low. This indicates an open circuit.
Reaction of the control software: Transmission goes to neutral.
PTQ 524230.06 — Proportional Solenoid Valve for Transmission Enable, Current Too High
Circuit current too high. This indicates a short to ground.
Reaction of the control software: Transmission goes to neutral.
PTQ 524234.03 — Transmission Enable Sensor, Voltage Too High
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control software detects a voltage above 4.875 V for more than 960 msec. This may indicate a defective wiring harness.
Reaction of the control software: Transmission goes to neutral.
PTQ 524234.04 — Transmission Enable Sensor, Voltage Too Low
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control software detects a voltage below 0.3 V for more than 960 msec. This may indicate a defective wiring harness.
Reaction of the control software: Transmission goes to neutral.
PTQ 524254.02 — Transmission Enable Signal, Internal Fault
The diagnostic trouble code is generated if the control software detects that a neutral signal was received via the CAN BUS but the transmission enable signal is active. The diagnostic trouble code is also generated if a direction of travel is selected with the reverse drive lever and the park lock is not engaged, but the transmission enable signal is inactive. The transmission is malfunctioning. Engage park lock or neutral.

PTQ 524267.16 — INFORMATION FOR OPERATOR: Forward Clutch Overloaded
Clutch slippage too high. Draft load is too high or range/gear combination is too high. Reduce load or select a lower range/gear combination. Too much wear on the forward clutch or a defective forward solenoid valve is also possible.
