The RPT control software controls the rear PTO. The RPT control software is included in the rear chassis control unit. The following sensors transmit signals directly to the RPT control software:
– Rear PTO Speed Sensor, Component Information
– PTO Shaft Spline Identifier Switch, Component Information
– Rear PTO Switch, Component Information
The following sensors transmit signals to the OIC control software which are then passed on to the RPT control software via the vehicle CAN bus (500 kBd):
– Rear PTO Switch
– Operator Presence Switch
– Left Remote Control Switch for Rear PTO
– Right Remote Control Switch for Rear PTO
The VTI control software transmits information on which PTO speed is selected to the RPT control software via the vehicle CAN bus (500 kBd).
These incoming signals are processed by the RPT control software and passed on directly to Y081 – Proportional Solenoid Valve for Power-Assisted Rear PTO Shifting (PAPTOS).
In addition, the RPT control software transmits a signal to the PAP control software via the vehicle CAN bus (500 kBd). In response to this signal, the PAP control software then activates the following
solenoid valves depending on which speeds are selected for the rear PTO with power-assisted shifting (PAPTOS):
– Solenoid for PTO Speed 2 (PAPTOS)
– Solenoid for PTO Speed 1 (PAPTOS)
– Solenoid for PTO Speed 3 (PAPTOS)
